The bank holiday weekend began on Friday with some important issues in Pitsea with local council Gavin Callaghan followed by a trip to East Tilbury library to find out more about the history of the Bata village and its legacy to the local community. A visit to West Tilbury and then on to the annual WELCOM Forum barbeque to spend some time with members of the group who are speaking up for residents living in the south of the constituency. It is an honour to be Labour's parliamentary candidate for such a wonderfully diverse constituency in Essex that is fully of rich history and real opportunity for the future.
